ATI 2020 Scripture Memory Bee
November 28 @ 9:30 am - 5:00 pm
As Victoria continues to gradually come out of lockdown, we are planning on going ahead with this event provided we are under Covid Last Step at this stage. In order to do this we will be holding the program outdoors and will limit the number to under 50 ppl. We will also keep a detailed record of all who attend and will have other Covid safe practices in place.
We hope that you will still be able to join us for a day spent sharing God’s Word with each other. This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage each other to be more dedicated to our memorization and to learn from others handy hints to memorization. Not only that but there are prizes to be won as well!
Last year’s Scripture Memory Bee was such a blessing to all who attended. Everyone was saying they looked forward to attending this year’s Bee. We all loved having a day spent listening as each contestant recited the WORD that they had hidden in their heart. This year we are looking forward to a similar great time, we just hope you can join us.
Each contestant will submit their selected verses and the version they have memorized in beforehand and on the day will recite them before the group. Judges will check their work as they recite and then give them a score based on the number of verse, and the accuracy of the recitation. First, second and third prizes will be given for all categories. Once you register our office staff will be in contact with you to receive the information about the verses and version you will be reciting.
Contestant categories are:
Registration will open at 9:30 for a 10:00 start. During the day there will be a provided lunch. All are welcome to bring along food to share for a pot luck dinner as a Christmas break up for IBLP/ATI. The prizes will be awarded just before 5:00 after which we will have the potluck.
Cost: $40 per ATI family, $50 per non-ATI family or $10 per individual. Those just wanting to attend and not recite should contact our office at email@example.com to discuss a lower rate.
