Annual Family Conference
We are excited about what the Lord has in store for us in the coming Annual Family Conference. Each year conference is a refreshing time for the whole family to grow and be encouraged together.
This year we have Dr and Mrs Fredrickson and two of their daughters coming out to share with us. Here is some information about them: Dwight and Laura Fredrickson are presently on staff at the Institute in Basic Life Principles and have served in a variety of roles in the IBLP ministry over the years (Laura since 1975 and Dwight since 1984). They married while serving on staff and the Lord has blessed them with six children and nine grandchildren. Two of their daughters, Sophia and Heidi, will be travelling with them to participate in the upcoming Family Conferences in Australia and New Zealand in January. They all look forward to meeting and encouraging parents and young people in walking with the Lord.
On Sunday night and one session Monday morning we are blessed to have been able to be have Dr Mark Harwood from Creation Ministries coming to speak. With over 30 years experience as an engineer and scientist in the Australian telecommunications industry, Mark played a key role in the development of Australia’s national satellite system from its inception in 1980. Mark is an excellent and engaging communicator, who can clear away the confusion that many have on the issue of origins and how it affects our views of the world today. Gabriel and Sara Cleator will be joining us again this year. We are so grateful that they will be here to share with us once again and also to run Student Conference following Family Conference.
