SUMMARY:Annual Family Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:“My brethren\, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations; knowing this\, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work\, that you may be perfect and entire\, wanting nothing.”\nJames 1:2-4\nOur theme for our 2026 Annual Family Conference is: “Count It All Joy.” It can be easy to get discouraged as we face difficulties in life and see the challenges our culture is facing. God’s desire for us as believers is that we lift our eyes off ourselves and our circumstances and look to Him. Instead of just enduring the trials of life\, Christ actually calls us to count these tests as joy! \nHow can we be joyful in the midst of hardship and why should we count these these trials as joy? Because God wants to conform us into the image of Christ through the temporal suffering we are going through. We are able to experience joy even in our affliction\, because we know He is doing an eternal work in our lives! II Corinthians 4:17 says: “For our light affliction\, which is but for a moment\, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” God shapes us more into the image of His Son as we respond rightly to the irritations and tests we face in life by counting them all joy\, through His divine enablement. \nJesus told His disciples in John 16:33 that in the world they would have tribulation. But then He tells them what their response should be : “But be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”  \nAs believers\, the joy of the Lord is our strength. Even in the midst of persecution\, rejection and trials\, we can rejoice because Christ has overcome the world and He dwells in us! \nWe trust that your family will be encouraged and challenged at the 2026 Annual Family Conference through the engaging messages and meaningful fellowship to look to the Lord and experience His super-abounding joy even in the midst of trials! \n  \nRegister Here\n

SUMMARY:Annual Family Conference 2025
DESCRIPTION:We see God’s glory displayed in so many amazing ways! His glory declared in the heavens. Psalm 19:1 states: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork”. Observing God’s creation is one aspect of the marvellous display of His glory. However\, the greatest revelation of the glory of God is in the face of His Son\, the Lord Jesus Christ! The Apostle John related the profound experience of being an eyewitness to Jesus while He was on earth: “And the Word was made flesh\, and dwelt among us\, (and we beheld his glory\, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father\,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). How often do we stop and take time to behold God’s glory? In the challenges and busyness of daily life and work\, all too easily we can lose our focus on the eternal. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur desire is that we would shift our focus from ourselves and our circumstances to the glory and majesty of our Lord Jesus Christ. The reality is that we become what we behold; what we focus on we conform our lives to. Incredibly\, when we behold the Lord and His glory through spending time with Him and seeking Him in His Word\, we are changed into His image by His Spirit. Scripture reveals this profound process of transformation: ”But we all\, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord\, are changed into the same image from glory to glory\, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (II Corinthians 3:18). \nGather with us as we gain a fresh vision of God’s glory and a renewed desire to be channels of His glory in our homes\, churches\, and communities. \n\n\n\nOnce again our Pathfinder Program (age 6-12) is being headed up by Jacob Evans and his great team of volunteers. Everybody involved loves their time in this theme based program that uses illustrations to open children’s eyes to spiritual truths. We’re not sure if the children or the leaders enjoy the time more\, but both have a fantastic time. So don’t forget to sign your children up\, and if your young people 15 and up are interested in joining in as leaders please fill that out as well. \n \nInnovators (ages 13-14) this year is all about the mark that we are aiming for. We aim to challenge young people to think about their goals in life and to see if what they are aiming at is actually where they are called to go. May God use this time together to inspire them to ‘seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.’ \n \nSunbeams (ages 2-5) will be a morning program for children to get their wriggles out and enjoy fun playing with other children. They will be joining in the Pathfinder program during stories\, songs and scripture memory and then having open playing time for the rest of the morning. Sign them up for the fun and learning they can experience. They will be with you for the rest of the time\, so this is a great opportunity to give them to be active before sitting with you in the sessions. \nThere are many opportunities for your 15+ year old to be involved. They are welcome to apply to serve in the teams leading Pathfinders\, Innovators and Sunbeams\, join in with the adult sessions\, or serve in the kitchen with Pastor Michael if that is their bent. There will also be some specific student sessions that are chosen to inspire them to follow Christ and be in Prayer. During lunch and dinner there will be the opportunity for them to join in the Choir (ages 13+) and the Orchestra (13+) the music will be sent to you prior to the program\, so they can get a head-start on learning the pieces before joining the others in practices which will end in a presentation on the Wednesday at the completion of the event. \n \nFor food this year we will only be providing Wednesday night dinner at Kilsyth South Baptist Church. For breakfast\, lunch and the other dinners it is strictly BYO. There are plenty of options close by in Kilsyth South that you can pop out to and get some lunch\, or if you prefer you can bring your own. However\, there are no cooking facilities available\, or fridge space\, so please be as self-sufficient as possible. Feel free to eat your evening meal at Haig road so that you can get more fellowship time in with the other families. \nWe do not have many options for accommodation and it is strictly first come first serve\, you are welcome to camp at Haig road\, but there are only portable bathroom facilities. Please organise your own accommodation if you are able to. \nCost: \nConference – ATI Family($150)\, Guest Family ($250)\, Individual Guest ($100)\, Individual ATI member ($50)\, First time Family ($200) \nPrograms – Sunbeams $5 per child capped at $10 per family\, Pathfinders – $21 per child capped at $80 per family\, Innovators – $15 per child capped at $25 per family \nFood – Children (3-10) dinners $6 each\, Adult (11+) dinners $9 each \n\nRegister Here

SUMMARY:Annual Family Conference
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we delve into our need to grow in prayer in the face of the building anxiety of our times. \nThis event is full of fellowship with like-minded families\, faith building and inspiring messages\, and children programs that not only entertain\, but build them up in the Lord. \nWe are looking forward to great messages from Gabriel Cleator and Pastor Michael Drennan. As well as these messages\, we are excited to share messages from the US family conference from impacting speakers like: Caleb Reed\, Nathan Johnston\, Gill Bates\, Eric Ludy\, David Gibbs Jnr. Our prayer is that these messages will\, by God’s Spirit\, enable us to break free from the “rocking chair” of anxiety and on our knees to prayer that drives us forward to victory. \n \nOnce again our Pathfinder Program (age 6-12) is being headed up by Jacob Evans and his great team of volunteers. SUMMARY:2023 Annual Family Conference
DESCRIPTION:Each year before 2021 we have been thrilled to host great speakers who encourage all who attend in their roles as children of God and in their families. Now\, FINALLY\, we have been able to host this event again.\n\nWe are so grateful to be able to share that Gabriel and Sara Cleator are able to join us again along with other great speakers like Pastor Neil Smith\, Jason Lau\, Pastor Michael Drennan and Chris Field. Not only so\, but our amazing volunteers are putting together great Pathfinder\, Innovator and Sunbeams programs for your children.\nConference will begin with an informal evening at 4 Haig Rd on the Sunday night. Then\, Monday morning will start off at the Kilsyth South Baptist Church with all programs running.\n \nAdult Sessions will be run throughout the day and evening. These will include messages from the speakers above\, as well as other live messages and some amazing sessions recorded from the USA Family Conferences. As always these messages have been chosen with the view of inspiring you in your walk with God and as parents and home-schoolers as well. Every year we are so encouraged to see how God meets with each individual attending and brings to them the message that He knows will uplift and inspire them to continue on His path for their lives. Come prepared to be challenged\, convicted and re-invigorated. Young people 15 years and older are encouraged to attend these sessions as well or to get involved in helping serve on the team for one of the following children’s programs. \n \nInnovators is our program for the 13-14 y.o. This program is designed to give these young teens a great transition between the Pathfinders action packed program and the options for service or the adult sessions that are available to them in the coming years. With Innovators we seek to inspire these young people to take ownership for their faith and spiritual growth\, and to see the wonderful opportunities service in God’s kingdom provides for His people. And as always there is the glowstick game to look forward to. This program comes at a cost of $15 per student. \n \nPathfinders is the highlight of the year for the children who attend. Each year\, this program for 6-12 year olds is based around a theme that helps the children view spiritual truths through analogies. The program is run during the day with a Bible study option available in the evenings. Join in the fun with Stories\, Skits\, Games\, Crafts and so much more on offer. Participants will jump from large group settings into smaller groups where they can participate in discussions\, lessons\, and hands on crafts. Leaders of the Pathfinder program have received training and all over 18 have valid WWCC. The pathfinder program is $21 per student with family discounts available for larger families. \n \nSunbeams is the preschool program where your little ones can get out their wriggles and allow you to fully focus on the adult sessions.  This program is not one that requires full participation\, but is just available for you to sign your children into at any time that suits you and them. The children in Sunbeams enjoy Bible stories\, dress ups\, playdough\, snacks and so many other crafts and activities. Sunbeams is run mornings and afternoons\, but is not run in the evenings. The Sunbeams program is $9 per child. \nCost: $250 per family with ATI and new families getting a discount (see registration form for more details). Meals and children’s programs are extra. \nAlso remember there is a Student Conference for the young people on the Thursday and Friday following conference. More information.\nPlease contact the main office for more details by emailing info@iblp.org.au\, calling 03 9735 2633\, \nOR \nRegister Here\n

SUMMARY:ATI 2021 Scripture Memory Bee
DESCRIPTION:In our world were it seems our plans are ever changing\, isn’t it great to know that God’s Word will never change. Even though we have had to change plans yet again\, we hope that you will still be able to join us for time spent sharing God’s Word with each other. This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage each other to be more dedicated to our memorization and to learn from others handy hints to memorization. Not only that but there are prizes to be won as well! \n2019’s  Scripture Memory Bee was such a blessing to all who attended\, and though we missed doing it again in 2020 due to the ever changing Covid restrictions\, we are still looking forward to holding one this year. We all loved having a day spent listening as each contestant recited the WORD that they had hidden in their heart.  This year we are looking forward to a similar great time\, even though it will be in an online format. \nEven if you do not have passages pre-memorised\, join in and participate in some extra activities as we learn some verses together with games and other activities. These along with listening to others share their memorisation will inspire all who attend to spend more time building the Word of God into our lives. \nEach contestant will submit their selected verses and the version they have memorized in beforehand and on one of the evenings will recite them before the group. It is important that participants let us know the version they memorized in so that we can check their accuracy with that version.  Judges will check their work as they recite and then give them a score based on the number of verse\, and the accuracy of the recitation. First\, second and third prizes will be given for all categories.  Once you register our office staff will be in contact with you to receive the information about the verses and version you will be reciting. \nContestant categories are:\nPreschool\nAges 6-10\nAges 11-16\nAges 17+\nfamilies \nEach evening we will be looking to start the Zoom meeting by 7:30 and will see how many contestants’ recitations we can fit in the first 45 min and then play a game all together and use the rest of the time until 9:00 to hear more contestants. This will be the schedule for all three evenings of November 8th-11th\, and we will be looking to hear from each group each night. If we can hear everyone’s recitations in that time we will be announcing the winners on the 11th. However\, we may need another evening if we get lots of entries so we are holding open the option of continuing this event on the evening of the 12th.  \nCost: $20 per ATI family\, $30 per non-ATI family or $10 per individual. Different prices are available for those not planning on entering in the reciting. \nRegister Here \nIf you are interested in more information please contact our office on 0499 974 876.

SUMMARY:Annual Family Conference
DESCRIPTION:We are excited about what the Lord has in store for us in the coming Annual Family Conference.  Each year conference is a refreshing time for the whole family to grow and be encouraged together. \nThis year we have Dr and Mrs Fredrickson and two of their daughters coming out to share with us.  Here is some information about them:  Dwight and Laura Fredrickson are presently on staff at the Institute in Basic Life Principles and have served in a variety of roles in the IBLP ministry over the years (Laura since 1975 and Dwight since 1984). They married while serving on staff and the Lord has blessed them with six children and nine grandchildren. Two of their daughters\, Sophia and Heidi\, will be travelling with them to participate in the upcoming Family Conferences in Australia and New Zealand in January. They all look forward to meeting and encouraging parents and young people in walking with the Lord. \nOn Sunday night and one session Monday morning we are blessed to have been able to be have Dr Mark Harwood from Creation Ministries coming to speak. With over 30 years experience as an engineer and scientist in the Australian telecommunications industry\, Mark played a key role in the development of Australia’s national satellite system from its inception in 1980. Mark is an excellent and engaging communicator\, who can clear away the confusion that many have on the issue of origins and how it affects our views of the world today. Find more information about Mark HERE. \nGabriel and Sara Cleator will be joining us again this year. We are so grateful that they will be here to share with us once again and also to run Student Conference following Family Conference. \nNeil Smith will also be giving us some live sessions. He is a pastor from Brisbane who homeschooled all his children. He is a very good speaker and communicator with people\, and especially engaging when speaking with young people.\n\nAdd to all this the fellowship and encouragement giving by meeting together with like minded people\, makes Annual Family Conference 2020 an experience not to be missed. Register by November 30th to avoid a late registration fee.\n\nFor more information check out the Annual Conference brochure.\nWe look forward to seeing you there!\nRegister Here

SUMMARY:Annual Family Conference 2019
DESCRIPTION:Rich fellowship\, inspiring messages\, and motivating children’s programs make our Annual Family Conference something to look forward to by anyone who has experienced one. Whether making new friendships with other families or rekindling relationships from previous years\, the conference is an annual highlight for many. The conferences are structured to foster spiritual growth as young and old alike are challenged to honour God’s Word in every area of their lives. \nSpecial sessions are available for fathers\, mothers\, students ages 13-young adult (Student Sessions)\, students ages 13-14 (Innovators)\, children ages 6-12 (Pathfinders) and also for preschoolers (Sunbeams);  as well as times for the whole family to learn together. \nThis year’s conference theme is taken from I John 4:10\, which says\, “Herein is love\, not that we loved God\, but that he loved us\, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” Experiencing Christ’s love personally and becoming a channel of that love to others is the fulfilment of the Law and the prophets. Join us to be encouraged by the lord God has for you and how you can then share that love with you family\, friends and the world. \n We are delighted to announce that our guest speaker this year is Mark Wilkes. We look forward to the blessing it will be to fellowship with him and his family and to hearing what God has laid on their hearts to share with us. \nThe Family Conference is scheduled for the 27th – 30th of January. Held at Kilsyth South Baptist Church\, 382-388 Liverpool Rd\, Kilsyth South\, VIC 3137. \nThough we do not have the option of accommodation for everyone we are happy to assist you in working out a place to stay. Please do not let a lack of accommodation hinder your attendance. Contact us at info@iblp.org.au to request options. \nFor more details check out the 2019 Conference Guide or contact our office at info@iblp.org.au or call on (03) 9735 2633. \nRegister here
