SUMMARY:Scripture Memory Bee 2022
DESCRIPTION:The Scripture Memory Bees are a wonderful experience for all to attend. For those who are memorising\, this day provides an opportunity to share what they’ve been working on and bless others as they hear the Word. For those who want encouragement to memorise or to encourage their families\, this is a day for them to see the example set for them and be encouraged to find God’s Word to be ‘Sweeter than honey’ for themselves. \nThere are a variety of activities throughout the day as well as time spent soaking up the sweetness of the Bible. This means that even if you have children who have not memorised there will be activities they can participate in. Other activities include: Verse Scavenger Hunt\, Scripture in Song \, and Bible quizzes and competitions. This day is one of our favourites each year and we hope that you will be able to join us and experience for yourselves the blessing of a day ‘tasting’ the ‘sweetness’ of the Word of God. \nOnce you register\, you will be contacted by us to submit the verses/chapters/books that you have memorised and the version you memorised in. Then we will prepare to test you on the day\, by having you recite your passage(s) while we all look on and see how accurate you can be.  Scoring in based on the number of verses accurately recited. Competition Categories you can enter are as follows: Preschool\, Ages 6-10\, Ages 11-16\, Ages 17+ and Families. \nWhere: 4 Haig Rd Mount Evelyn VIC 3796 \nCost: $20 ATI Family or $30 for a non-ATI family\, $5 for an individual (or $10 for Families who do not want to enter the reciting) \nLunch will be BYO with snacks\, tea and coffee provided. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an early mid-year Family Connection Conference.  This program will run from mid afternoon on Friday until Saturday Evening.  Praise the Lord that we are able to hold a face to face conference at last!  We have set this conference so early in the year as we are longing to get to see you all again. Participate to catch up with all those familiar faces that you’ve been missing over the last few years. \nThere will be Sessions for the Adults and plenty of fellowship time\, while the Primary School children can enjoy their Pathfinder program. Students (14+) are encouraged to help out in running the Pathfinder program or they are able to join in the Sessions on offer.  We will explore the possibility of a Student specific session as well. There will be two sessions on Saturday where there will be a program on offer for the Pre-schoolers\, and a space in the session room will be set up with a few toys to help hold their interest. \nThis program will commence after the Family Day program is finished with some extra time between for great fellowship.  Please consider joining us for this event as well.  You can register for the unusual Friday Family Day on our website: https://iblp.org.au/event/may-family-day-5/ \nDetails for the Family Connection Conference: \nRegistrations open at 3:00pm on Friday and the evening session will finish around 9:00pm. Saturday morning will start at 9:00am and run until the evening. \nCost: $50 for ATI Families\, or $100 for Guest Families AND $5 per ATI child in Pathfinders capped at $15 for the family\, or $10 for Non-ATI children in Pathfinders capped at $30 per family. \nFOOD: Saturday Dinner will be available. Cost is $5 per person 10yo and above\, and $3.50 per child 3-9yo. Other meals are BYO with teas\, coffees and snacks provided. Facilities to heat food will be available but limited. DESCRIPTION:For the ADULTS: on Thursday and Friday from 7:30 – 9:00 pm (EST) there will be a link to a special page on our website with pre-recorded items from other families\, a message and some sharing from individuals.  We are even looking forward to seeing some of our past visitors from overseas drop by with an encouraging message. We will be watching Jobe Martin’s session “Seeking the Lord in a Storm”  and Aaron Baker’s “The Forgotten Communicator”. Each evening after the message there will be a link to a Zoom meeting where you can join others in prayer and fellowship.\nOn Saturday from 7:30 – 9:00 pm there will be a fellowship evening. This will be a zoom meeting where we will be going in and out of break out rooms so that you all can fellowship with other attendees. This will be an opportunity for us to catch up with each other at the same time as discussing the things we have heard on the last two days.\nFor those who might want some techinical support we do have people on hand who are willing to assist you should you request aid.\nThose in areas under less restrictions might like to explore the option of getting together with other families and watching together. \nCost: Free for ATI and ATI Associate Families\n$5 for Guest families or Individuals \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Pathfinder sessions for the Primary School aged children will be run on Thursday to Saturday from 4:00 – 5:30 pm (EST). They will get to enjoy some of their usual favourite activities like: Stories\, Songs\, Games\, Crafts \, Skits and a whole lot more. These will be similar to the Character Fun Hour that some have already experienced. In addition there will be a craft pack posted out to the children so registrations for this event need to be in by September the 7th. Any registrations received after this time will incur an additional postage fee\, and come with no guarantees that they will receive the pack in time for the program. \nCost: ATI Families $10 first child\, and $5 each additional child\nGuest Families $15 per child and $10 for each additional child \n\n\n\n\n\n\nOne blessing of this online conference is that we are able to have Gabe Cleator host the Student sessions from the USA. We look forward to spending Thursday\, Friday and Saturday Evenings from 7:30-9:30(EST) together on Zoom.
