SUMMARY:Strength to Strength Leadership training event
DESCRIPTION:We are excited about this new initiative for those involved in children’s ministry.  Whether this is at Family Days\, other IBLP events or within your local church and community\, this event is designed to strengthen you in your abilities to reach into children’s lives with truth from God’s Word.\n\nThis event will be held on October 3rd and 4th and will be formatted as teaching sessions followed by workshop times where all attending will get the opportunity to participate. We are looking forward to seeing all who attend grow in skills of Storytelling\, Acting in Skits\, and General Stage Presence which is so vital to all children’s ministry whether it is game leading or teaching songs and verses or even giving lessons. Enjoy great fellowship from leaders across different groups and learn from each other’s experiences while growing together in leadership skills.\n\nEvent Details:\nTime: October 3rd at 10:00am to October 4th at 5:00pm\nCost: $50 per person capped at $175 per family\nIncluded: Materials\, Meals and Accommodation. (The accommodation will be dorm style rooms with girls in one building and the guys in another. This is very much a camping style with up to 10 ppl. in the one room and one girls’ bathroom and one guys’ bathroom.)\nAge: 14+ (exceptions could be made for 13 year olds who have other family members attending)\n\nFor more information or to register your interest please email us at info@iblp.org.au or call on 0499 974 876. DESCRIPTION:“If you love me\, keep my commandments.” John 14:15\nUsually on the third Thursday of the month\, a group of local Christian home-educating families gather to discover more about one of the 49 commands of Christ found in Matthew 5-7 and a corresponding character quality through songs\, skits and stories\, Bible memorisation\, a short lesson\, small group discussions\, craft and practical projects. \nThis month we will be looking at the command ASK IN FAITH from Matthew 21:21-22 and the Character Quality of PATIENCE. Come and join us as we study together what it means to love God through keeping this commandment. \nNew families are always welcome! \n“It’s the highlight of my children’s month” says one mum. \n \nEach Family Day registration start at 9:00am with the program beginning at 9:30am and concludes after a shared lunch at 2:00pm\, though many stay on to fellowship well into the afternoon. \nLunch is $3 a head for a sausage sizzle. \nPlease contact the main office for more details by emailing info@iblp.org.au\, calling 03 9735 2633\, \nOR \nRegister Here
