DESCRIPTION:On the third Thursday of every month\, a group of local Christian home-educating families gather to study one of the 49 commands of Christ found in Matthew 5-7 and a corresponding character quality through songs\, skits and stories\, Bible memorisation\, a short lesson\, small group discussions\, craft and practical projects. \nNew families are always welcome! \nEach Family Day registration start at 9:00am with the program beginning at 9:30am and concludes after a shared lunch at 2:00pm. \nLunch is available for $3 per person four years old and over (under three years old eat free). SUMMARY:Scripture Memorisation Bee
DESCRIPTION:Run on the 13th of April this day will be a time were you can compete against others in your category to win\, but more than that it is an opportunity for you to proclaim the Word of God\, and share how it has impacted your life. \nEach contestant will submit their selected verses and the version they have memorised in beforehand and on the day will recite them before the group. Judges will check their work as they recite and then give them a score based on the number of verse\, and the accuracy of the recitation. First\, second and third prizes will be given for all categories. \nContestant categories are:\nPreschool\nAges 6-10\nAges 11-16\nAges 17+\nfamilies \nDuring the day there will be a provided lunch. And all are welcome to bring along food to share for a pot luck dinner. The prizes will be awarded just before 5:00 after which we will have the potluck. \nCost: $30 per family or $8 per individual. \nRegister Here
